Since then, we have partnered with other franchisees that are just as passionate about Lost Pizza Co. In 2011, John Mark and Emily Elliot joined the LPC family and opened the first Lost Pizza Co. opened in Indianola, MS in September 2007, followed soon by a second location in nearby Cleveland. It took a little convincing, but eventually, they packed their bags, moved back to the Mississippi Delta and the rest is history. It was while Preston was visiting Brooks and Jenny in the Caribbean that they decided to make their dream restaurant a reality back in their hometown of Indianola, MS. All through college, they continued dreaming about their one-of-a-kind eatery, but they inevitably graduated, and they had to move on to work in the “real world”. Their dream was to create a cool, funky atmosphere where friends can get together and enjoys some great food. started as a dream of its founders, Brooks Roberts & Preston Lott, way back when they were roommates in college. I wasn't sure on our first visit what the protocol was, but some other guests who entered around the same time let us know that you order & pay at the counter, then take your number to your table.Lost Pizza Co. I do want to add, that when you visit for the first time, there are paper menus right inside the door, they are helpful to peruse before you head up to the counter to place your order, that way you have an idea of what you want. Overall, this place was quite a "find", and I hope to be a regular customer! I look forward to trying the thin crust on a future visit, I'm sure it's good as well. The toppings and sauce are flavorful, and there was plenty of cheese. We also shared a pizza, again on thick crust, and it was yummy. There were 2 of us, and the small almost wasn't enough, so if you are big queso fans, you may want to go with the large size. Our second visit we tried the queso & chips, it seemed like a pretty standard Rotel-style queso, and was quite good. I will probably skip the salad in the future. The salad was just meh, there were a few brown pieces of lettuce that were kind of a turn off, and the only other toppings were tomato slices, croutons, and oddly, a pickle. It was a good deal, and a lot of food! The pizza was delicious, and the spaghetti was delicious. the lunch specials, I had an individual pizza (thick crust, pepperoni) with a salad & drink my dining companion had the cheesy baked spaghetti with a salad & drink. I had been meaning to try Lost Pizza since they came to town, but just hadn't gotten around to it yet, and boy was I missing out! We've visited twice in the past month, and both trips have been delicious!
